Your credit report and credit score can affect your ability to get a job, rent or buy a home, get a loan, get insurance, and more. That’s why keeping your credit in good shape is so important. Credit When Credit is Due is a course that gives you the facts about using credit and loans, and tells you what you can do to build and maintain good credit.


Credit When Credit is Due is an online course you can take whenever and wherever it works with your schedule. You can use your smartphone, tablet or PC to take the course. You can work at your own pace, and log in and out of the 12-lesson course whenever you need to. Credit When Credit is Due is education that fits into your lifestyle.

When you successfully complete the course, you will be entered in the Credit When Credit is Due national database, and you’ll receive a completion packet. The packet contains an embossed plastic card with your name and Credit When Credit is Due registration number on it. The packet also includes three cards that you can send to Experian, Equifax and TransUnion, the three national credit-reporting agencies. By sending in those cards, you can add a statement your credit report. Once the credit-reporting agencies receive your cards, creditors that view your credit report will see the following statement:  “I have successfully completed Credit When Credit is Due- Credito Al Merito a 12 lesson national standardized education course on credit and financial education. Proof of completion can be verified. My book registration number is xxxxxxx.”
